Seems hard to believe it's been nine years since 911. Everyone remembers where they were that day. I just remember how surreal it all seemed. Let us never forget those who lost their lives that day, the loved ones left behind and the police and firefighters whose lives are changed forever!
I am linking this post to Pink Saturday.
Yes, Julie, I agree. We must never forget.
ReplyDeleteWe will never forget that day terrible day in history.
ReplyDeleteThanks Julie for your remembrance. When we lived in NYC for 18 months, I was amazed at all the tributes, both public and private, all over the city. At night they beam huge lights into the sky and it is a beautiful tribute. I will post my picture on my blog. Have a good day...I know I can find you at your Farmer's Market!!!
ReplyDeleteYour tribute and your photo are lovely. I hope you have a wonderful Pink Saturday. Blessings...Mary
ReplyDeleteI know, I can't believe it's been 9 years. It's such an important day to remember. Thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteWe had guests for the weekend and of course the topic came up where everyone was and what they were doing when they heard the news.
ReplyDeleteI even put on my 911 t-shirt, all old and yellow because yes, as hard as it is to believe, it was NINE years ago. Unbelievable... still seems like yesterday.
Very close to our hearts. We lost several dear friends, and several friends lost their children that day. My son was scheduled to fly from Logan that morning. It was hours before we knew if he had been on one of the planes.
