As we approach Mother's Day, I am going to feature a couple of recipes from some of the great Mom's who have touched my life. Today's recipe, Nana's Chocolate Cake, is from my best friend's mother and my son's grandmother.

That sounds really rich, but good!
ReplyDeleteYou've gotta love those delicious simple old recipes! That's a chocolate-lover's dream cake!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful tribute to the mothers you have loved!
ReplyDeleteMy grandma used to make a cake, it was just chocolate cake with canned cherries in it. It was so simple but has always been one of my dad's absolute favorites, and we're all very sentimental for it as well. :)
ReplyDeleteWow ~ looks so dark and rich :)
ReplyDeleteSweet recognition of those special ladies in your life!
YUM! I could go for an afternoon chocolate right about now :)
ReplyDeleteI just checked out the recipe & this sounds almost too good to be true! I can't wait to try it AND the apple crisp in the crockpot, too. I wish I had some cook & serve puddings in the house instead of all instant ones. I'd be making one of them right this minute! Thanks for the recipes!
